• Implement standard operating procedures to assure on time delivery and highest quality standards
• Manage reliable and predictable operations
• Reduce process variability and improve consistency throughout the department.
• Motivate the crew to effectively accomplish the tasks at hand while monitoring employee performance and task efficiency
• Identify and implement improvements to the shipping/receiving and packaging departments
• Ensure SDI/OSHA safety requirements are met and exceeded
• Assure the schedule is designed to gain maximum utilization of manpower, equipment, and material movement on all shifts
• Effectively practice Performance Based management by coaching and developing employees
• Ability to lead staff to meet shipping/receiving and packaging demands.

• 5+ years of leadership experience
• 3+ years of experience in a shipping environment
• Ability and desire to improve efficiency and increase capacity
• Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor
• Self-motivated with positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and proven leadership skills
