Are you an experienced Shredder Supervisor ready to take your career to the next level? Join our team and play a key role in overseeing shredder production and maintenance. In this vital position, you will ensure the smooth operation of our shredding process, manage a dedicated team, and maintain a safe and efficient work environment. 

Responsibilities

What you will do

  • Operate Shredder. Perform preparations for start-up and shut down in accordance with established procedures.
  • Direct activities of production employees.
  • Be a good communicator.
  • Monitor attendance of employees.
  • Train new employees.
  • Responsible for maintaining equipment, grounds, and building.
  • Maintain a clean work area during and at the end of shift.
  • Remain compliant with state and local laws and company policy.
  • All other duties as required.
  • Have extensive knowledge and perform maintenance on the shredder as needed.
  • Ensure spare parts are maintained at an appropriate level.

Qualifications

What We Look For

  • Extensive shredder operation and maintenance knowledge.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Ability to work in all types of weather conditions.
  • Ability to frequently work with heights.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to successfully interact with employees and management and effectively complete paperwork.
  • Strong computer skills (working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel).
  • Ability to establish priorities and manage multiple tasks at once.
  • Ability to complete assignments in a timely manner with attention to detail.
  • Must be highly self-motivated.
  • A clear understanding of and adherence to safety regulations.
  • Team player dedicated to the organization.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Good judgmental skills.
  •  

Schedule:

  • Typical work schedule is from 6 PM to 4 AM.
