Repairs and maintains electric, diesel, and gasoline mobile equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Reads job order and observes/listens to equipment to determine malfunction and plan work procedures.
  • Troubleshoot all types of mobile equipment.
  • Repair down equipment including but not limited to: Skid-Steers, Forklifts, Loaders, Car Crushers, Balers, Street Sweepers, etc.
  • Perform Preventative Maintenance as designated on mobile equipment.
  • Examines protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices on equipment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or 3 years mobile mechanic experience.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to complete assignments in a timely manner with attention to detail.
