Internship Location

This internship is located at NanoAl located in Billerica, MA. This internship will take place Summer 2026.

Responsibilities

What Are My Responsibilities as an Engineering Intern at NanoAl?

  • Participate in engineering activities, including brainstorming, prototyping, assembly, testing, and documentation.
  • Help source and manage materials and components.
  • Support the use of engineering tools such as Fusion 360, 3D printing, machining, etc.
  • Contribute to the testing of integrated subsystems and report results under the guidance of engineers.
  • Collaborate with NanoAL team members to complete project milestones.
  • Provide general project support and complete other assignments as needed.

Qualifications

What Qualifications Do I Need?

  • Pursuing a technical certification or degree (i.e. Mechanical, Machinist, Electrical, Electrician, Industrial, etc.).
  • Willingness to learn new skills and take on hands-on tasks.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and machine tools.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or electrical systems.
  • Familiarity with engineering software (Fusion 360 a plus).
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively.
